Abstract

The invention discloses a phyllotreta striolata perfect insect food intake inhibitor which comprises a common lantana extractive solution, water and a surfactant. The volume ratio of the common lantana extractive solution, the water and the surfactant is 2:100-400:0.5-2. The invention can be directly sprayed on the surface of a cruciferous vegetable plant and can inhibit the food intake of the phyllotreta striolata perfect insect, resulting in the significant food refusal effect to the insect so as to reduce the harm on the cruciferous vegetable plant, thus protecting the vegetable plant. The invention pertains to a botanical plant protection agent and provides a feasible way for 'eliminating harm with harmful herb and changing the harmful herb into useful substance' for common lantana.
