The embodiment of the invention also discloses a method for providing MBMS service, wherein mMME maintains the MBMS bearing context , to send the conversation management control signalling to ENB, according to the received conversation management control signalling; MBMS maintains the MBMS bearing context according to the received conversation management control signalling; ENB maintains the wireless resource and the MBMS service bearing according to the received conversation management control signalling.
