Abstract

The invention discloses a high matching current source layout used for a segmented current-steering digital-to-analog converter (DAC), wherein, the thermometer-type current-steering has important influence on the performance of the DAC and comprises a current source array consisting of n-1 (n is equal to 0, 1, 2, 3 ...) thermometer-type current sources, the current source array is arranged into m (m is equal to 0, 1, 2, 3 ...) sub-arrays, the sub-arrays of the current source array are symmetric along the x axis and the y axis of the whole array territory, and provided with axisymmetric arrangement structure along the x' axis and the y' axis of the quadrant in each subdivided quadrant. The current source array adopts the double central symmetric structure, which can inhibit the odd technical error, and reduce the even error. The arrangement has the characteristics of small sub-array surface and small technical error change in the area, so that all the current sources are influenced by almost the same technologic errors, and the matching between the current sources and the precision of the DAC are greatly improved.
