[0062] The formulation given below was formed into standard granule dressings with a diameter of 2 mm and a length of 4 mm using a basket extruder Bextruder BX 150 from Bepex Leingarten Germany. It is pulverized by means of an impact mill. Scalability is assessed by measuring powder flow called Dynamic Flow Rate (DFR). The velocity at which a 2.5 cm diameter stand pipe is emptied through the orifice is measured.

The higher the dynamic flow rate, the better the flowability of the pulverized particles, which means better meterability. [0001] The invention relates to a granular gravy or seasoning concentrate and a preparation method thereof. Background of the invention [0002] Instant gravy is often used as a base for eg gravies or soups. However, its important other function is as a seasoning product, in this way imparting taste and aroma to a dish during or after its preparation. Gravy concentrates are available in various forms such as gravy cubes, as well as granules and powders. The advantage of gravy cubes, especially when used as a base for gravy, is that a predetermined volume of gravy concentrate can be added to a specific amount of fluid. For use as a seasoning adjunct, consumers prefer a form of gravy concentrate that is easier to sprinkle on dishes. In this regard, powders and granules may be more suitable.
