The rigid disk storage system comprises a solid-state rigid disk and a switching unit, wherein the solid-state rigid disk is provided with a fast peripheral component interconnect standard PCIE interface; the switching unit is provided with at least three PCIE interfaces, wherein the first PCIE interface is connected with a first control unit, the second PCIE interface is connected with a second control unit, and the third PCIE interface is connected with the solid-state rigid disk through the PCIE interface of the solid-state rigid disk. The method comprises the following steps: sending a rigid disk information acquiring request to the switching unit through the PCIE interface when the first control unit receives a data storage request; receiving the rigid disk information of the solid-state rigid disk, which is sent by the switching unit; and sending data to be stored to the solid-state rigid disk through the switching unit according to the rigid disk information of the solid-state rigid disk. The embodiment of the invention realizes the fast and reliable data storage by the solid-state rigid disk with the PCIE interface.
