Abstract

The invention provides a roundness calculation and display method. The method comprises the following steps: setting a color gradation stripe, wherein different colors in the color gradation stripe represent different error ranges; receiving a converged point set; fitting the point set to form a circle by a least square method, namely a fitting circle; calculating the distance di between each point in the point set and the fitting circle, wherein the distance di is an error value of the point; comparing the error value of each point in the point set with the set color gradation stripe to confirm the color of each point; and drawing and outputting a figure roundness analysis report, wherein the figure roundness analysis report comprises the color gradation stripe, the fitting circle and the point set with colors. The invention also provides a roundness calculation and display system. The invention can realize the figure display of a roundness calculation result.
