When such data analysis are performed on the images, analysis indicators are provided in the upper left hand corner of the display providing an easy to view indication of the results and status of any computer analysis being performed or that has been performed on the data.

A color is assigned to the measurements made while drilling based on the assigned color to each of the selected value ranges. The assigned colors made while drilling are used to estimate a stratigraphic position of the wellbore during the drilling by comparing the assigned colors made while drilling to the colors assigned from the offset wellbore.

The antimicrobial substrate is prepared by providing a metal ion precursor comprising at least one source of antimicrobial effective metal ions dissolved or otherwise dispersed in a carrier material; depositing the precursor onto at least one surface of the substrate; drying the substrate at a temperature of from about 20° C. to about 105° C. by removing volatiles from the metal ion precursor; and heating the resulting substrate at a temperature of about 600-650° C. for 2-5 min. to exchange or otherwise implant antimicrobial metal ions from the precursor and into the glass or glass-like substrate.

The face detection method improves the face detection speed and accuracy, and is easy to implement and operate, stable and reliable.

The display unit (7) also displays a color scale that represents the elastic modulus in the display area of the displayed strain image.

Methods and apparatus of compression for non-stitched pictures captured by multiple cameras of a panoramic video capture device are disclosed. According to one embodiment, the system uses a RIBC (Remapped Intra Block Copy) mode, where the block vector (BV) or BV predictor is remapped using calibration data to reduce the search range. The mapped BV or BVP is also more efficient for coding. A color scaling process can be used with the RIBC mode to compensate the color / brightness discrepancy between images from different cameras. A projection-based Inter prediction method is also disclosed. The projection-based Inter prediction method takes into account different perspectives between two images captured from different cameras. Transform matrix is applied to a block candidate to project the block candidate to a position of a target block. The projected block candidate is used as a predictor for the target block.
