The method comprises the steps of displaying a selected test image on an LCD spliced screen; setting the target x, y color coordinates and gamma ray curves of 100% R, G, B, W images of a target gamut, and conducting conversion to target X, Y, Z values; acquiring the actual X, Y, Z values of each LCD screen body in the LCD spliced screen through a chromathermograph, obtaining a gamut compensation value through comparison with the target X, Y, Z values and calculation, and conducting gamut correction according to the gamut compensation value; displaying pre-stored specific images on the LCD spliced screen; acquiring multiple pixel points through a color analyzer, conducting margin calculation with the intermediate point among the pixel points to obtain a light compensation value, and conducting chromaticity and brightness uniformity correction according to the light compensation value. According to the method and system, assembly and disassembly of the LCD spliced screen are not needed, multiple areas of the screen can be debugged at the same time, and white balance adjustment efficiency is improved.
