Dynamic quality adjustment based on changing streaming constraints

A method and apparatus for dynamic quality adjustment based on changing streaming constraints is provided. According to one aspect of the present invention, a video stream is sent to a client according to a set of streaming constraints. At least a subset of the video information in the video stream is sent from a first source. Next, a signal is received indicating a relaxation of streaming constraints corresponding to the video stream. In one embodiment, the signal is a freeze frame signal. In another embodiment, the signal is a slow motion signal. In response to the signal, a set of improved quality video information from a second source is accessed and sent to the client. According to one embodiment, the set of improved quality video information comprises a still image. According to another embodiment, the set of improved quality video information comprises a set of preprocessed video information ready to be streamed. As a result of the techniques described herein, an improved quality visual image is available for presentation on the client and, consequently, when a viewer requests a presentation rate that reduces the streaming constraints on a video streaming service, the improved quality video information may be sent using the freed-up portion of the bandwidth previously allocated to the client.

In the operating process of the photovoltaic power station, voltage of a direct current bus of the photovoltaic power station and voltages of a super capacitor group and a lithium battery group which are connected with the direct current bus respectively through two bidirectional direct current/direct current (DC/DC) controllers are detected in real time, active power output of a photovoltaic power supply is detected in real time, and meanwhile power output values of the super capacitor group and the lithium battery group for fulfilling an electric energy quality adjustment and control aim of the photovoltaic power station or finishing a scheduling task are quickly calculated; and running states of the two bidirectional DC/DC controllers are controlled according to a calculation result, and thus a charging process and a discharging process of the super capacitor group and the lithium battery group can be controlled. By the method, the advantage of high energy density of a lithium battery and the advantages of long circulation service life and high power density of a super capacitor are given a full play, the problems of low electric energy quality and difficulty in participation in power grid scheduling which are caused by grid-connected running of the photovoltaic power station can be solved; and popularization and application of the photovoltaic power station are facilitated.

The invention solves the problems of high difficulty, low efficiency and low precision of the exiting method of manually adjusting the center of mass after applying load to the triaxial air-bearing turntable board. The device is characterized in that four mass adjusting devices are uniformly distributed on the edges of the air-bearing turntable board, with the center of the board as the origin; a mass adjusting device is fixed opposite to the vertical direction, wherein each mass adjusting support is provided with a guide rail; a stepping motor fixed at one end of the guide rail drives a mass block to slide along the guide rail; a signal output end of an electronic gradienter is connected with a signal input end of a control module; and a drive signal output end of the control module is connected with a drive signal input end of the stepping motor. The method comprises the steps of horizontal adjustment of the center of mass and vertical adjustment of the center of mass. The invention is suitable for adjusting the center of mass after applying load to the triaxial air-bearing turntable board.
