Abstract

The invention discloses a method for communicating a packet transport network (PTN) with a double-layer Ethernet and a system thereof. The method comprises the following steps that: when initializing network equipment of the PTN, the network equipment of the PTN, which is accessed to the private network of a user, and the network equipment of the PTN, which is accessed to the public network of an operator, are respectively provided with Ethernet line (E-LINE) services; and after a report transmitted by the user and a report transmitted by the operator enter into the PNT network, and the network equipment provided with the E-LINE services processes and transmits the report transmitted by the user and the report transmitted by the operator by means of E-LINE services to respectively reach an operator network and a user network.
