Problems solved by technology

However, these practices take up a lot of space in the mouth, causing discomfort and damage to the teeth, gums and soft tissues
Also the presence of larger devices can cause excessive salivation and gagging
Still other major disadvantages of these approaches include the surgical anatomy involved in these oral devices, which would require specialized technicians to customize the oral interface for each patient

Embodiment Construction

[0106] In order to have a clearer understanding of the technical features, purposes and effects of the present invention, the specific implementation manners of the present invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0107] Figure 1A and Figure 1B is a schematic front view of the first specific embodiment of the oral device of the present invention, wherein Figure 1A is a schematic diagram when the user's mouth is closed, Figure 1B An illustration of the user's mouth when it is open. The oral device includes an upper attachment part 110 , a lower attachment part 120 , a fixing part 130 , a connecting part 140 and a passive telescopic part 150 . The upper attachment part 110 and the lower attachment part 120 can have different thicknesses and elasticity, and can be adhered to the skin without falling off, and preferably have reusable stickiness. The upper attaching part 110 and the lower attaching part 120 can be formed of, for example, ...

Abstract

The invention provides a mouth device for eliminating or treating snoring and sleep breathing pause symptom and a method of generating oral cavity negative pressure. The negative pressure is provided by a mini-type mouth part in the oral cavity. The mini-type port has a fastening connection with the mouth to assist a patient to close an upper lip and a lower lip during sleep. The negative pressure system pulls a tongue to a palate and pulls forward a velum, and the tongue and soft tissue are moved forward, thereby an upper respiratory tract near a throat can maintain smooth to prevent breathing obstacle during sleep. The negative pressure will pull the lips inward to close the mouth, preventing air flow in the oral cavity, and the negative pressure pulls the velum to contact with the rearsurface of the tongue, generating a sealing region and preventing air flow into the oral cavity through a nasal passage.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a system and method for eliminating upper airway obstruction of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) patients and snoring patients. More particularly, the present invention relates to an oral device and method thereof that can be used to generate negative pressure in the oral cavity. Background technique [0002] Sleep apnea (OSA) is a condition in which a patient's airway repeatedly collapses during inspiration, resulting in airway obstruction during sleep. During inspiration, the air pressure in the lungs and airways decreases. If at this time, the muscle activity of the upper airway is reduced, the airway will tend to collapse. Before the airway becomes obstructed, the airway begins to close and the patient often begins to snore. Snoring is a phenomenon in which patients try to fight against collapsed airways. These disturbances occur at different locations along the airway in different patients, but the pharynx and nas...
