Embodiment Construction

[0053] A weighing receiver 100 as a first embodiment is shown in its operating position in FIG. 1 and has a tubular peripheral wall 110 and a bottom portion 111 which, in the operating position of The tubular circumferential wall 110 is closed in the direction of gravity, ie in the downward direction. In the opposite direction, ie in the upward direction, the inner space 114 delimited by the tubular circumferential wall 110 and the bottom part 111 is open and freely accessible. The upper end of the tubular peripheral wall 110 thus forms a filling opening 113 . The inner space 114 is funnel-shaped so that residues of substances adhering to the inner surface of the tubular peripheral wall 110 will be more visible and thus more easily flushed out of the tubular peripheral wall 110 . The interior space 114 is preferably kept dark so that any attached particles of matter are more visible since they are usually brightly colored.

Abstract

A receptacle for the weighing-in of free-flowing substances has a fill opening, a tubular-shaped circumference wall, and a bottom part. The bottom part is connected to the tubular-shaped circumference wall, which it tightly closes off in the direction of gravity when the weighing receptacle is in its operating position. The weighing receptacle can be set on the weighing pan of a balance and can be filled like a beaker with free-flowing substances without allowing the latter to escape therefrom. The bottom part can be opened either by an outside force acting on the weighing receptacle and/or through the influence of a solvent acting on the weighing receptacle, forming an outlet orifice in the bottom part. The weighing receptacle, otherwise tightly sealed in the direction of gravity, can be flushed out with a fluid when the outlet orifice is opened.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a weighing receiver for preparing specified quantities of substances and to a process also called "weighing". Background technique [0002] Receptacles for weighing such as laboratory containers, bottles, beakers, platters, flasks, test tubes etc. belong to the prior art. They serve, for example, as target containers in dosing processes in which a specified amount of a substance, for example in the form of a powder or paste, is dispensed manually. The substance in the form of a powder or a paste is then dissolved in a weigh receiver by adding a solvent and analyzed, for example, in an HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography). HPLC instruments are based on relative measurement methods and therefore need to be calibrated with existing standard solutions prior to the actual analysis of unknown substances. In this process, it is especially important to obtain the exact concentration of the standard solution, since th...
