Problems solved by technology

[0006] However, when the ink cartridge is repeatedly replaced and the claw is repeatedly elastically deformed many times, the claw may fatigue and may become unable to return elastically to its original position or its amount of deformation may decrease due to fatigue, or the claw may even break
In this case, the function of the claw, which prevents the cartridge from jumping out of the mount, is no longer effective

Abstract

The present invention relates to a liquid container, a liquid supply device and an image printing apparatus. The liquid container is configured to be inserted into a mounting portion in an insertion direction and to be removed from the mounting portion in a removal direction opposite the insertion direction. The liquid container includes a main body comprising a liquid chamber configured to store liquid therein, a liquid supply portion positioned at the main body and configured to supply liquid from an interior of the liquid chamber to an exterior of the liquid chamber, and a first cartridge-surface positioned vertically below the main body and extending in the insertion direction and the removal direction, wherein the first cartridge-surface comprises a first deformable portion configured to be resiliently deformable in a width direction perpendicular to the insertion direction and the removal direction, and the first deformable portion comprises a first protrusion. The invention has the advantage of using a reusable structure of a mounting unit to reduce the possibility that the liquid container gets out of the mounting unit.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a liquid container configured to be mounted to a mounting portion including a stopper, a liquid supply device including the liquid container and the mounting portion, and an image printing apparatus including the liquid supply device. Background technique [0002] There are known image printing apparatuses configured to print an image on paper with ink. An image printing apparatus has an inkjet print head configured to selectively eject ink droplets from nozzles of the print head toward paper. A desired image is printed on paper when ink drops land on the paper. An image printing apparatus has a liquid tank containing ink to be supplied to a print head. An example of a liquid container is a liquid cartridge configured to be inserted into and removed from a mounting portion provided in an image printing apparatus. A liquid cartridge storing ink is also called an ink cartridge. [0003] When the ink of the ink cartrid...
