Abstract

The mechanism, for two wheels 20 coupled by a shaft 16, includes hubs 11 for fixing to inner sides of the wheels and two corresponding brake pedals 12 pivoted on the shaft and coupled by a linkage tube 17 surrounding the shaft. The hubs 11 have a plurality of bumps 111 arranged radially relative to the shaft 16 and an engaging slot 112 is formed between each two adjacent bumps. A brake rib protrudes from a side surface of each brake pedal 12 toward the corresponding hub 11. Each base 13 is pivoted its corresponding pedal 12 and has a wheel base 14 pivoted to it with a spring extending between the wheel base 14 and the pedal 12 to absorb impact vibrations. The pedals have means limiting their rotation about the shaft 16.
