Abstract

The technology provides a lockable ball valve, which only can be opened and closed by using a special key and can effectively prevent the occurrence of the stealing phenomenon. The lockable ball valve comprises a valve body, wherein the two ends of the valve body are provided with joints; the two ends of a ball are arranged in the valve body by sealing rings; a valve rod penetrates through a valve rod cavity on the valve body and forms a revolute pair with the valve body; the lower end of the valve rod is connected with the ball; and the upper end of the valve rod is lower than the periphery of the upper end of the valve rod cavity. The ball valve also comprises a key which can extend into the valve rod cavity, is matched with the upper end of the valve rod and is used for driving the valve rod to rotate.
