The invention aims at providing a method for establishing connection between equipment based on identifiers and the equipment, wherein the method comprises the following steps: first equipment acquires a first identifier which is allocated for the first equipment by network equipment; a shorter second identifier is generated according to the first identifier; the second identifier is supplied for a user, so that second equipment can establish connection with the first equipment according to the second identifier; the second equipment acquires the second identifier which is provided by the first equipment and is inputted by the user; the first identifier of the first equipment is acquired based on the second identifier; and the connection from the second equipment to the first equipment is established according to the first identifier. Compared with the prior art, through inputting the second identifier of the first equipment into the second equipment, the connection between the first equipment and the second equipment is established, so that the portable connection between a mobile terminal and other computing equipment is realized, and the usage experience of the user is improved.
