Problems solved by technology

[0005] Technical issues: Data aggregation in sensor networks may cause mild or severe congestion (see figure 1 ), resulting in a sharp drop in system throughput and service quality. In response to this situation, many wireless sensor network data collection mechanisms based on congestion control have been proposed, but they are not completely applicable to wireless multimedia sensor networks. Considering Wireless multimedia sensor networks can generate a variety of application traffic, such as scalar data, images, voice, and video, and the importance of different application traffic is often different. Therefore, it is necessary to propose a congestion control based on wireless multimedia sensor networks method to solve its congestion problem

[0044] 1. Architecture

[0045] The wireless multimedia sensor network based on the present invention is a data acquisition sensor network. This network is widely used in various environmental monitoring fields and can collect various application data, such as simple data, voice, pictures and videos. The importance and real-time requirements are not necessarily the same. The network is composed of a base station and a large number of sensor nodes distributed on the plane. Each node has a unique identification. The collected data is sent back to the base station. figure 2 It is the wireless multimedia sensor network model based on the present invention, and the data transmission in the network adopts many-to-one multi-hop single-path mode. A single node in a sensor network can generate different types of application traffic, such as figure 2 Node B has important applications, node D has key applications and common applications, C and E have all three applications, and node...

Abstract

The invention discloses a congestion control method based on a wireless multimedia sensor network, which is a speed regulation mechanism based on dynamic priority level and is mainly used for solving the Qos (Quality of Service) protection problem of different application streams in the case of congestion of the wireless sensor network based on multimedia. Based on priority level, the speed regulation disclosed by the invention effectively avoids the important flow rate with high priority level in the network from being effected by congestion and dynamically changes the protection strength of the important application stream; and by means of considering the characteristics of the multimedia sensor network, the high efficiency of the network can be maintained by important limit on the far-end flow rate of the network in the case of severe congestion. The method utilizes the speed regulation mechanism based on the dynamic priority level to distinguish the importance of different applications, limit the congestion effect within a common application range as much as possible, protect the QoS of applications with high priority levels and realize the high efficiency of the multimedia sensor network.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention is a congestion control method based on a wireless multimedia sensor network, which is mainly used to solve the problem of data transmission control when the network is congested, and belongs to the technical field of wireless network service quality. Background technique [0002] Previously, the field of sensor networks mainly studied the collection, transmission and processing of simple data such as humidity, temperature, and canopy closure. With the advent of the era of the Internet of Things, people urgently need the sensor network to provide multimedia information services such as video and images, so wireless multimedia sensor networks have emerged as the times require. Wireless multimedia sensor network can realize more comprehensive and accurate environmental monitoring, so it has a great demand in a wide range of fields such as daily life, military affairs, forestry, and biomedicine. [0003] Wireless multimedia sensor networks ...
