Abstract

The invention relates to a non-photorealistic based art illustration effect drawing method and belongs to the field of information technology. The drawing method comprises the following steps of: segmenting an inputted original image by using a digital matting method, and extracting a foreground image and a background image to obtain a grayscale image of the foreground image; performing tone separation on the grayscale image, and comparing with a threshold based on the tone separation and then adjusting the brightness information of the local images; transferring the color information of the original input image into a result image by using a color transfer method; carrying out filtering treatment on the original input image by using a DoG (Difference of Gaussian) filter so as to obtain an edge image, and expanding the edge based on the morphological dilation treatment; and combining the result image of the color transfer, the edge expansion image and the background image according to factors to obtain the final art illustration effect image. The method provided by the invention has the following advantages: the method can well accord with the aesthetics and has a wide application range, high processing speed and good flexibility, and thus the method can be a beneficial supplement for non-photorealistic simulating of different artistic effects.
