Abstract

The invention provides a port coal transshipment method, wherein the port is provided with a dumping machine room and a quay berth, wherein a silo cluster including a plurality of silos is arranged between the dumping machine room and the quay berth. The port coal transshipment method comprises: a silo entry process of coal: conveying coal in the dumping machine room into the silos of the silo cluster through a silo entry conveying system; and a process of taking out coal from the silos: conveying the coal in the silo cluster to a coal carrier at the quay berth through a take-out conveying system. The invention also provides a coal port for realizing the port coal transshipment method, wherein the coal port comprises a silo cluster (300) including a plurality of silos (301). The coal is stored in the silo cluster during coal transshipment so that closed storage and transportation of the port coal are realized and pollution on the surrounding of the port is avoided.
