Abstract

The invention provides a foliar topdressing method for promoting yield increase of heading leaf vegetables under protected cultivation conditions. The method is characterized in that base fertilizer is distributed and applied to soil during soil preparation, wherein the base fertilizer is a mixture of organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer which are in a mass ratio of 95%:5%; and foliar fertilization is carried out four times in the whole growth periods of the leaf vegetables as follows: tiller fertilizer is sprayed once in the seedling period, rosette fertilizer is sprayed once in the rosette period, heading fertilizer is sprayed once in the heading period and relay fertilizer is sprayed again in the medium heading period, wherein the tiller fertilizer and the relay fertilizer are multielement plant nutrient foliar fertilizers, the rosette fertilizer is high nitrogen foliar fertilizer and the heading fertilizer is high potassium foliar fertilizer. The experiments design the fertilization scheme specially for the heading leaf vegetables under high temperature and high humidity protected cultivation conditions in the south but not for open or other leaf vegetables and have strong pertinence. By adopting the method, the yield of the cabbages can be increased by over 30%, the yields of Chinese cabbages and broccolis are increased by over 40%, the vegetable quality can be obviously improved and the farmer income can be increased.
