The working method mainly comprises the following steps: step 1, performing the wavelet transform on wavelets with noise to obtain wavelet coefficients on various scales; step 2, performing soft or hard threshold function processing on the wavelet coefficients in various scales to obtain estimated values of wavelet coefficients of original signals; and step 3, obtaining denoised signals by the processed wavelet coefficients through wavelet inverse transform. The device and the method have the benefits that the wavelet analysis can analyze outlines of the signals, and can analyze details of the signals, so that the noise is effectively restrained; the loss of speech section information is reduced, and important significance is brought to future research on speech denoising algorithm; and the speech noise can be effectively removed so as to achieve the purpose of recovering the original speech signals.
