Abstract

The invention discloses a Chinese medicinal preparation for treating facial neuritis. The facial neuritis is known as 'wry mouth' in Chinese medicine and is caused by insufficient anti-pathogenic energy, wind pathogen which enters middle collaterals by taking the advantage of a weak point or wind phlegm and blood stasis which block venations to cause that the qi and blood of yangming meridians of the head and face do not run smoothly and then cause the facial neuritis. Thus, the Chinese medicinal preparation is prepared from the Chinese herbal medicines of Chinese holly grass, herb of common herons bill, rhizoma typhonii, rigescent hawksbeard herb, radix ligustici sinensis, viola muehldorfii, acuteleaf caper root, fragile blueberry root, scorpion, caulis polygoni multiflori, herba ajugae, purple loosestrife and gynura divaricata which have the effects of expelling wind and clearing away cold, dredging the channels and activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis, wherein the Chinese herbal medicines are decocted into a decoction with water in a manufacturing laboratory. Clinical tests show that the total effective rate of the Chinese medicinal preparation reaches 97.4% and is obviously superior to a comparison group, so that the Chinese medicinal preparation is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
