Abstract

The invention discloses a resource allocation method which is based on an OFDM system and belongs to the technical field of broadband power line communications. The technical scheme is to propose a single-user quick bit loading method for a broadband power line OFDM system. The method includes six steps of dividing subcarrier channel quality grades, selecting an available subcarrier set, calculating an initial load threshold, carrying out fast bit loading, determining whether the loading is over and updating a bit loading threshold. The single-user quick bit loading method for the broadband power line OFDM system can reduce the transmission power as much as possible with an optimal allocation result while guaranteeing a required rate by the system, and can also reduce the computational complexity of the system since the method is capable of batch loading of multiple bits.
