The processing method comprises the steps that a request for switching a data source to which the player terminal has access is received, wherein the request for switching the data source to which the player terminal has access comprises the identification of the data source to which the player terminal has access, a request playing resource identification, and playing demand information; whether playing resources corresponding to the requested playing resource identification are allowed to be distributed or not is judged according to the applied playing resource identification and the playing demand information; if the playing resources are allowed to be distributed, playing resources matched with playing demand information are distributed to the data resource, to which the player terminal has access, corresponding to the identification of the data source to which the player terminal has access from the playing resources according to the playing demand information. According to the processing method and device for switching of the data sources to which the player terminal has access, the distributed playing resource can meet requirements of the data source to which the player terminal has access, and resource waste caused when excessive playing resources are distributed is avoided.
