Abstract

The disclosure provides image processing equipment for compressing a binary image and an electronic device. The image processing equipment comprises an edge pixel obtaining device for obtaining at least one edge pixel from each edge in the binary image as an initial edge pixel; an edge pixel judging device for using each initial edge pixel as a basic pixel and judging whether each adjacent pixel of the basic pixel which is not processed is the edge pixel and using the adjacent pixel as the basic pixel under the condition that the adjacent pixel is judged as the edge pixel to execute the judging operation in terms of the adjacent pixel so as to determine all edge pixels on the edge where the initial edge pixel is located; and a storage device for storing the position of the initial edge pixel and a pixel feature comprising each edge pixel of the initial edge pixel so as to compress the binary image.
