The method comprises the following steps: receiving label information input by a user through a label arrangement interface; formatting the label information into label configuration information, and according to the label configuration information, generating an iso mirror image file of a label; and recording the iso mirror image file of the label in an optical disc by use of a multi-section unsealing recording mode, and generating an electronic label. The invention further provides an adding apparatus of an optical disc electronic label. The apparatus comprises a receiving unit, a mirror image file generation unit and a recording unit. According to the invention, a conventional physical label is replaced by the optical disc electronic label so that the cost can be effectively saved, forgery is prevented, pollution is prevented, the customization is high, and the security is good.
