Abstract

The invention discloses a media playing method, equipment and a music teaching system. Wherein, the media playing device includes a receiving unit, an audio decoding unit and an audio playing unit. The receiving unit is adapted to receive audio data from the network. The audio decoding unit is adapted to perform a decoding operation on the received audio data to obtain one or more audio frames. The audio playback unit is adapted to perform a silence detection operation on each acquired audio frame to determine whether the audio frame is silence data. If the detected audio frame is silent data, the audio playback unit discards the audio frame. If the detected audio frame is not silent data, the audio playback unit stores the audio frame into the playback buffer, so as to perform a playback operation on the audio frame in the playback buffer.
