An embodiment of the invention discloses an account number management method and an account number management device. The account number management method comprises the following steps in being applied on a server: receiving an account number unregistering request which is transmitted by a first terminal of a currently logged-on account number for aiming at a second terminal, the information of the current account number is recorded on the second terminal, and the account number unregistering request is used for deleting the information of the current account number on the second terminal; and after the second terminal is networked, deleting the information of the current account number on the second terminal. In the embodiment of the invention, the server can delete the information of the current account number on the second terminal according to indication of the first terminal, thereby realizing manual control between terminal equipment. When a secret leakage potential trouble of one set of one set of terminal equipment occurs because of reasons such as loss occurs, a user can remotely control the terminal equipment for realizing account number unregistering through other terminal equipment so that the terminal equipment cannot log on by means of the account number, thereby protecting cloud-end data of the user from leakage and ensuring high safety of the account number.
