The method comprises: developing a battlefield environment model, a combat entity model and a combat behavior rule model, which are used in a simulation training process; by using an information support service subsystem, a manner of a data distribution service and a time management mechanism, implementing interaction of internal information of a simulation system; and monitoring a simulation stage state and a simulation running condition, and managing data in the simulation training process. The heterogeneous simulation method for an ultra-large-scale air force campaign not only can be used for demonstration of air force weapon equipment development demands but also can be used for deduction of large-scale joint air force combat strategies and red and blue parties or multi-party combat training.
