When to-be-recognized information is matched with biological feature samples in a database, the matching is performed by step; firstly, the database is subjected to primary screening by adopting a relatively low first preset matching degree as a matching threshold and a biological feature sample with relatively high matching degree is screened out through relatively low calculation amount; and secondly, the biological feature sample obtained by screening is subjected to more accurate matching by using a relatively high second matching degree as the matching threshold to obtain a recognition result. Therefore, the operation of matching the to-be-recognized information with the biological feature samples in the database one by one can be avoided, the calculation amount during recognition is reduced, the recognition speed is increased, and the recognition efficiency and accuracy are improved.
