Problems solved by technology

When both uplink and downlink services increase, a secondary carrier can be added to increase the system capacity, but the addition of secondary carriers does not bring significant benefits to mid-to-far point users. Mid-to-far point users are relative to central users
Due to the limitation of their own transmission power, users at mid-to-long-distance points cannot use the uplink subframes of two carriers to send data at the same time. Therefore, if there is an overlap of uplink sub-frames in carrier aggregation, users at mid-to-long distance points cannot obtain carrier aggregation. Increased wireless resources income

Embodiment Construction

[0074] In order to make the purpose, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below in conjunction with the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention. Obviously, the described embodiments It is a part of embodiments of the present invention, but not all embodiments. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by persons of ordinary skill in the art without creative efforts fall within the protection scope of the present invention.

[0075] The method in the embodiment of the present invention is mainly applied to a TDD communication system supporting carrier aggregation, for example, it can be applied to a TDD LTE-A system or a system based on TDD LTE-A evolution. A carrier aggregation cell generally includes a primary carrier and at least one secondary carrier. In the prior ...

Abstract

Embodiments of the invention provide a carrier aggregation method based on sub-frame offset and a base station. A base station determines to perform sub-frame offset for newly added auxiliary carriers, and determines the sub-frame offset of the auxiliary carriers relative to a main carrier. Then, the base station configures an auxiliary carrier for each UE in a first UE set within coverage, and sends configuration information to each UE in the first UE set, wherein the configuration information includes the frequency of the auxiliary carrier, the sub-frame ratio of the auxiliary carrier and the sub-frame offset of the auxiliary carrier. According to the method, by setting sub-frame offset for an auxiliary carrier, the uplink sub-frames of the auxiliary carrier can be staggered from the uplink sub-frames of a main carrier or staggered from the uplink sub-frames of other auxiliary carriers, so that medium- and far-range users supporting carrier aggregation can be used on the uplink sub-frames of different carriers and can obtain the gain brought about by carrier aggregation, and the objectives of coverage and capacity enhancement are achieved.

Description

technical field [0001] Embodiments of the present invention relate to communication technologies, and in particular to a subframe offset-based carrier aggregation method and a base station. Background technique [0002] During the evolution process from the Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE for short) to the Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-A for short) system, the demand for wider spectrum will indeed be the most important factor affecting the evolution. For this reason, the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (the 3rd Generation Partnership Project, referred to as 3GPP) proposes a carrier aggregation (Carrier Aggregation, referred to as CA) technology, and CA obtains a larger bandwidth. [0003] In an LTE-A Time Division Duplexing (Division Duplexing Time, TDD for short) system, multiple carriers performing carrier aggregation may use the same or different subframe configurations. Considering that most services have more downlink services and less uplink services, the ma...
