Abstract

The invention provides an inquiring method in an event model. The method comprises two steps of event ordering and time matching. At the step of event ordering, an event ordering processing process based on a data structure of an event matching algorithm is a pretreatment process of event matching; and after an event server receives a new event order, a predicate table, an interface list, and an order list need to be updated. At the step of event matching, on the basis of the data structure and event order pretreatment, matching testing of a received event in the predicate table is carried out line by line. Forward matching of an ordering area with an issuing value, reverse matching of an issuing area with an order value, and symmetric matching of an issuing area with an ordering area are processed. In order to meet a requirement of a dynamic symmetric event matching support in a distributed virtual environment, the invention provides an improved rapid event matching algorithm based on existing two kinds of algorithms; and because of integration of respective advantages of the two kinds of algorithms by the algorithm, the matching speed and efficiency are improved.
