By using the method for assessing the network performance and the apparatus thereof, a plurality of network performance indexes are evaluated integrally; when a new index is added, an evaluation mechanism does not need to be reenacted, and adaptability is high; and according to a user assessment demand, the plurality of indexes are selected to carry out integration evaluation, and evaluation to network quality is objective and reasonable.
