Abstract

The invention provides a traditional Chinese medicine composition which comprises the following components in parts by weight: 4-8 parts of radix bupleuri, 7-11 parts of scutellaria baicalensis, 4-8 parts of rhizoma zingiberis, 1-5 parts of raw capejasmine, 1-5 parts of rhizoma anemarrhenae, 7-13 parts of poria cocos, 1-5 parts of cassia twig and 4-8 parts of root of common peony. The invention also provides a preparation method of the traditional Chinese medicine composition. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing and decocting radix bupleuri, scutellaria baicalensis, rhizoma zingiberis, capejasmine, rhizoma anemarrhenae, poria cocos, cassia twig and root of common peony; and filtering the mixture, and concentrating the mixture to obtain a thick paste. The invention also provides an application of the traditional Chinese medicine composition in preparing a medicine for treating insomnia.
