The two-pole overcharge protection circuit includes a charging module, a first switching module, a storage battery pack and a first battery management module; the first switching module is connected with the charging module to receive a charging voltage outputted by the charging module; the storage battery pack is connected with the first switching module; the first battery management module is connected with and detects the two poles of each storage battery in the storage battery pack and the first switching module; when the first battery management module detects that any one of the storage batteries is in an undervoltage state, and the first switching module receives a charging voltage, the first battery management module switches on the first switching module so as to charge the storage battery pack; and when detecting that any one of the storage batteries is in an overcharged state, the first battery management module switches off the first switching module to stop charging the storage battery pack. The invention also provides a two-pole overcharge protection circuit method which applies the above two-pole overcharge protection circuit.
