The free fall device comprises a casing body, a vacuum bin arranged in the casing body, and a power device in transmission connection with the vacuum bin. The power device is used to control the movement of the vacuum bin in the vertical direction. The faller is arranged in the vacuum bin. The bottom of the vacuum bin is provided with a vacuum bin observation window which is used for observing the free fall movement of the faller. The absolute gravity measurement system further comprises a vacuum bin displacement measurement device arranged within the casing body.
