According to the video encoding method disclosed by the invention, the high-resolution to-be-encoded video is cut into a plurality of low-resolution sub-videos according to the resolutionof the plurality of encoding devices, and the sub-videos are encoded via the plurality of encoding devices, the encoding of the high-resolution video is achieved by superposing a plurality of low-resolution encoding devices, so that the improvement of the resolution of the video can be adapted by using the existing devices without upgrading or replacing the encoding devices, thereby reducing the cost and saving resources.
