Abstract

A light-emitting diode (LED) device for use in the sterilization of a refrigerator, comprising: an LED lamp (10), comprising a plurality of LED lamps (11) and sensors (12), which are arranged side-by-side and which are slidably connected in the vertical direction to a top portion of an inner side of a refrigerator (30); a controller (20), which is located at the inner side of the refrigerator (30), the controller (20) being communicably connected to the LED lamps (11) and the sensors (12), respectively; the LED lamps (11) are blue LEDs which vertically illuminate a surface of a stored object (31), while the sensors (12) are used to acquire information on the real-time vertical distance between an LED lamp (11) that is arranged therebeside and a top end of the stored object (31), sending said information to the controller (20); according to the received real-time vertical distance information, the controller (20) sends first driving information to drive an LED lamp (11) to move in the vertical direction toward or away from the stored object (31). The LED device allows the vertical illumination distance between the LED lamp (11) and the stored object (31) in the refrigerator to be adjusted automatically, thus attaining the effects of uniform illumination, sterilization and fresh-keeping.
