The mounting method comprises the following steps: 1) unloadingsizes of attachment rod pieces are determined according to self sizes of tower cranes and a gap size between the double tower cranes; 2) lifting systems of the double tower cranes are used for assembling and welding the attachment rod pieces for the respective tower cranes below the corresponding tower cranes; 3) bracket lug plates for connecting with nonstandard attachment rod pieces are weldedon the inner side of a tower body of an intercooling tower in sequence from bottom to top; and when the bracket lug plates are welded, attachment frames for connecting with the nonstandard attachmentrod pieces are welded in the positions, level to the tower body of the intercooling tower, of the tower cranes; and 4) the lifting systems of the tower cranes are used for fixing one ends of the nonstandard attachment rod pieces with the bracket lug plates in sequence from bottom to top and fixing the other ends with the attachment frames.
