Problems solved by technology

Due to the small size of the semicircular canal, the manual measurement operation is complicated, time-consuming and labor-intensive, and the accuracy is low
Therefore, the current imaging diagnosis of inner ear diseases, especially the diagnosis of inner ear deformities, is mostly limited to simple morphological observation, and it is difficult to make a precise diagnosis for some mild or tiny developmental deformities.

Abstract

The invention provides a multiplanar reconstruction method. The multiplanar reconstruction method comprises the following steps: acquiring a tomographic image; locating a target region where a semicircular canal is located in the tomographic image; determining a centerline of the semicircular canal in the target region; and generating a multiplanar reconstruction image of the semicircular canal inaccordance with the centerline of the semicircular canal. The invention also provides a multiplanar reconstruction system.

Description

technical field [0001] The present application relates to a multi-plane reconstruction method and system, in particular to a multi-plane image reconstruction method and system for the semicircular canal of the inner ear. Background technique [0002] The inner ear, also known as the labyrinth, is a tiny structure consisting of a bony labyrinth and a membranous labyrinth. The bony labyrinth includes the bony semicircular canals, vestibule, and cochlea. The bony canals are divided into anterior bony canals, posterior bony canals, and outer bony canals. Computed tomography (CT) is the most widely used imaging examination of the inner ear. In clinical applications, doctors basically use traditional manual methods to measure the indicators of bone semicircular canals. Due to the small size of the semicircular canal, the manual measurement operation is complicated, time-consuming and labor-intensive, and the accuracy is low. Therefore, the current imaging diagnosis of inner ea...
