The extraction method comprises the following steps of: measuring a to-be-measured road by adoption of an inertia measurement instrument, so as to pose parameters, corresponding to each continuous sampling point of the to-be-measured road, acquired by the inertia measurement instrument, wherein a mounting surface of the inertia measurement instrument is parallel to a road surface of the to-be-measured road, and the pose parameters comprises a pitch angle and a course angle; determining shape parameters included by the to-be-measured road according to the pose parameters, wherein the shape parameters comprise a vertical curve radius and a horizontal curve radius; and extracting feature road sections included by the to-be-measured road according to the shape parameters of interval road sections included by the to-be-measured road, wherein the feature road sections comprise convex curve road sections, concave curve road sections, longitudinal slope road sections, left curve road sections, right curve road sections and straight road sections.The extraction method is relatively high in efficiency and has relatively good stability.
