Embodiment Construction

[0044] The present invention will be further described below through specific embodiments.

[0045] In the method and system of the present invention, first query the historical trajectory data to obtain the departure time and departure location, and then obtain the initial driving route of the bus according to the road network. During the driving of the bus, passengers can initiate a ride request to the system through a terminal (such as a mobile APP), and the system will judge whether the ride request meets the time conditions and insertion conditions based on the road network data and the current vehicle status. If it is satisfied, accept the ride request, return the corresponding boarding and alighting information to the passenger, and update the driving route; if not, reject the ride request, maintain the original driving route, and return the rejection information to the passenger.

Abstract

The invention provides a scheduling method and system for a flexible bus system. The method comprises: step one, road network data are initialized and stations and stops are generated by clustering; step two, a traffic flow network is constructed based on station distribution, a traffic flow is calculated, one bus is opened if the traffic flow is larger than a set traffic flow threshold, and otherwise, buses wait and do not go anywhere; step three, when the bus is opened, the bus uses an initial driving route as a current driving route and departs by starting with a starting point; step four, the bus is driven along the current driving route, determines whether an insertion constraint condition is met when receiving a riding request from a passenger, receives the riding request and uses anew driving route as the current driving route if the insertion constraint condition is met, and otherwise, refuses the riding request; and step five, when the bus is driven to the destination of thecurrent driving route, the step two is performed again. Therefore, the driving route can be adjusted flexibly based on a real-time riding request; the scheduling cost is minimized while the service quality is ensured; and the urban traffic efficiency is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of public transportation, in particular to a scheduling algorithm and system for flexible buses. Background technique [0002] Buses, or more broadly public vehicles, whose route planning and dispatching strategies are a key part of the design and operation of urban transportation systems (see M. Zhu, X.-Y. Liu, F. Tang, M. .Qiu, R.Shen, W.Shu, and M.-Y.Wu, “Public vehicles for future urban transportation,” IEEE transactions on intelligent transportation systems, vol.17, no.12, pp.3344–3353, 2016. ). In the traditional fixed-route transportation system, the driving routes of vehicles are planned in advance, and it is easy to carry out time and route planning by stopping at designated stations to carry passengers. Correspondingly, it is a fully demand-responsive transportation system (Demand Responsive Transit). DRT is more complex than traditional fixed-route transportation systems (see Iqbal R, Yukimatsu K, Ichikaw...
