A compartment is thus defined in the cup-shaped body 2 for containing a predetermined amount of ground coffee. As shown, the cup 2 has an axisymmetric shape and is made of metallic material. In use, the cup-shaped body 2 is intended to be inserted into a filter holder of a coffee machine.
