Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system for triggering an alarm aiming at an object. A prediction model is applied to current health care data so as to predict the life quality score of an object. The life quality score is determined whether one or more predetermined standard is satisfied or not, so as to determine whether an alarm is triggered or not. If the life quality score satisfies at least one or more predetermined standard, an alarm is triggered. By applying a machine learning method to a data set formed by the data record, a prediction model is established, and each data record atleast associates (historical) health care data with (historical) life quality score.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method or system for triggering an alarm for a subject, and in particular to a method or system for triggering an alarm when a measure of a subject's health falls below an acceptable level. Background technique [0002] In the medical world, there is a strong desire to monitor or track the health of patients. This is especially important after a patient has been discharged from the hospital or has a long-term (chronic) condition. This helps prevent or identify possible patient deterioration when not in the clinical setting, i.e. without the proximity of clinical personnel or medical equipment. In such situations, it is important to quickly identify when a patient's health status is declining or will fall below acceptable levels, so that there is sufficient time to intervene before further or irreversible deterioration occurs. [0003] One method for measuring a patient's level of health is to obtain a patient's qual...
