Abstract

The invention discloses a stylus, a display panel, a touch display device and a touch display method. The stylus comprises a sound wave generator used for generating sound waves; the sound wave receiver is used for receiving reflected waves generated by reflecting the sound waves by the reflecting surface; and the detection device is used for detecting a pattern corresponding to the contact on thereflection surface according to a time difference value between the emission time of the sound wave and the return time of the corresponding reflection wave, and obtaining a coordinate position corresponding to the contact according to the detected pattern. The stylus emits sound waves and receives reflected waves provided by the reflecting surface with the patterns, the patterns of the reflecting surface where the contacts are located are determined, and therefore the coordinate positions where the contacts are located are accurately positioned.
