Abstract

The invention provides a fault detection method and device and related equipment. The fault detection method is applied to a network card or a switch, and comprises the steps: generating a heartbeat detection message; sending the heartbeat detection message to a service node, wherein the heartbeat detection message is used for detecting the working state of the service node, and the service node is a node where the network card is located or a service node connected with the switch; obtaining a response message, wherein the response message comprises state information used for indicating the working state of the service node; and sending the response message to a management node, wherein the management node is used for managing the service node.
