Abstract

The invention provides a method and a system for a terminal to release different source group calls based on a broadband cluster system. The method comprises the steps that a core network side serverreceives a group call release request message sent by any terminal: when determining that the group call release type is different source group calls, determining whether the terminal has permission to release the different source group calls or not: if so, initiating a group call release process, or else refusing the group call release request of the terminal; when it is determined that the groupcall release type is voice group call, determining whether the terminal has permission to release a voice group call service or not: if yes, initiating a voice group call service release process, orelse refusing the group call release request of the terminal; when it is determined that the group call release type is a video service, determining whether the terminal has a permission to release the video service or not: if yes, initiating a video service release process, or else refusing the group call release request of the terminal. According to the method, the release of different source group calls actively initiated by the terminal can be flexibly realized.
