The method comprises the steps of obtaining switch cabinet isolation switch temperature rise test data; selecting a temperature value of a monitoring point of a switch cabinet shell and an environment temperature value as independent variables, and selecting a temperature value of an isolating switch contact as a dependent variable; performing parameter optimization on the penalty parameter C and the kernel function parameter g by using a genetic algorithm to obtain a trained SVR model; using the SVR model to carry out isolating switch contact temperature regression monitoring; comparing regression monitoring results under different kernel functions, determining an optimal scheme, and establishing an isolating switch contact temperature regression monitoring model; and testing the temperature of the switch contact by using the isolating switch contact temperature regression monitoring model.
