Abstract
The invention relates to application of parthenolide in preparation of an MCR-1 enzyme inhibitor. A checkerboard method and a time-sterilization curve method verify that parthenolide can recover the bactericidal activity of polymyxin on gram negative enterobacter such as MCR-1 escherichia coli, klebsiella pneumoniae and salmonella and the like; and establishment of a mouse pneumonia infection model proves that the combination of parthenolide and polymyxin has a good treatment effect on infection of MCR-1 positive bacteria. Therefore, parthenolide is an effective MCR-1 drug-resistant enzyme inhibitor, and has a good experimental therapeutic effect on infection with MCR-1 drug-resistant bacteria when being combined with polymyxin.
