The first proportion can represent that the distribution condition of the brightness of the to-be-displayed image is in concentrated distribution or discrete distribution. Therefore, the contrast control curve of the to-be-displayed image can be corrected based on the first proportion, and then the contrast of the to-be-displayed image is corrected, so that the to-be-displayed images with different brightness distributions can obtain a better viewing effect.
